Wings academy
alternative education
for 14-16 year olds in a quiet setting
Wings is registered with the UK Register of Learning Providers (UKPRN 10031741)

What is the wings academy?
Wings has been working with children and young people for many years helping to give them hope and a positive future. Wings Academy has come about due to recognising the need to build on the positive work that we have been doing with post-16 and extend this to 14–16-year-old students.
At Wings Academy, we provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment for 14-16-year-old students who require a different approach to traditional schooling. Our holistic provision caters to the social, emotional and mental health well-being of our students by providing up to 15 hours of tuition a week in subjects such as English, Maths, ICT, and PSHE.
Our experienced teachers are passionate about helping our students build their confidence and skills through activities such as drama, cooking, sport and physical well-being, motor mechanics, digital media, recording, editing and enjoying music, and art. We strive to make Wings Academy a place where our students can unlock their potential and flourish.
