Although Wings has always worked with individuals with learning and physical disabilities, it has only been more recently that a growing voice from parents and carers has encouraged us to focus more on this area of additional needs, for those under 18 and for those over 18.

For five years ‘Unity’ has become a core, long-term strategic element of Wings, with numbers growing from 6 to over 40. However, with increasing demands and changing needs we recognise that Wings is now entering a new phase of development and further support is needed to extend existing provision.
